The National Hydro Network allows you to view your drainage area

May 21, 2010

A subset of NHN data is now available in the form of an image map and can be downloaded in Portable Document Format (PDF). These image maps are created from NHN work units (drainage areas), a subset of NHN data and Canadian Digital Elevation Data (CDED). They also contain names information to allow to position oneself and the water flow direction is symbolized with arrows. It thus becomes easy way to view and print the hydrographic data contained in a drainage area. The generation of these image maps has been completely automated from Web Map Services (WMS) available on the GeoBase web site. This new format is added to the other distribution formats of the NHN product already in place at no cost on GeoBase portal.
