Raw SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 imagery is on-line!

In order to meet the needs of our growing user community, it was decided to distribute raw SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 imagery files on the GeoBase portal. This raw imagery is used to produce the GeoBase orthoimagery. Collection of the SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 imagery began in 2005 and is scheduled for completion in 2010.
The SPOT 4 raw imagery is available in CAP format. Details on this preprocessing format are available here. The SPOT 5 raw imagery is available in DIMAP format. Details on this format which is comprised of image data and metadata are available here.
