Nunavut National Road Network (NRN) new update with Place Names, Street Names and Address Ranges

On behalf of the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is pleased to announce the release of the second update of the Nunavut portion of the National Road Network (NRN) produced by NRCan with information provided in large part by the Government of Nunavut Department of Community and Government Services and the city of Iqaluit.
The Nunavut NRN dataset includes approximately 100 km of new roads as well as Place Name for all 25 communities. Street Names and Address Ranges were also introduced where the information could be found.

Data Change Management (DCM) files between current 2009-05 and previous 2007-06 releases are also provided.
New! A subset of the Nunavut NRN dataset is now offered in KML format. This subset contains only road segment geometries with NID, Street Names and Place Names. Notice that the KML subset only provides an overview of all information available from the NRN Nunavut dataset release available in shapefile and GML format.
