Canadian Digital Data of Canada (CDED) from Quebec on GeoBase

March 2, 2009

Following the signature of an agreement between Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune (MRNF) of Quebec, the MRNF delivered 379 new CDED in Quebec. The data sets, at a scale of 1:50,000, cover an area south of the 49th parallel and were produced using Quebec's 1:20,000 scale topographic data base, the BDTQ. The CDED are now available on GeoBase. Québec is expected to deliver more new CDED over the next three years.
