Newfoundland and Labrador road network update on GeoBase

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is pleased to announce the release of the first update of the National Road Network (NRN) for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador carried out in the framework of a maintenance agreement with the Newfoundland & Labrador Department of Environment and Conservation - Surveys and Mapping Division.
This new NRN GeoBase data set offers 73 kilometres of new roads detected and integrated during December 2004 as well as extensive updates of the roads surface type.
