NHN Data Discrepancies

A discrepancy detection procedure is in place in order to maintain the NHN. A discrepancy is defined as an inconsistency in NHN data as opposed to the NHN product specifications.

To consult logged discrepancies on NHN data produced using Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) data, see the following section NHN Discrepancies - NRCan.

It is also possible to flag a potential discrepancy on NHN data or metadata. Agencies acting as official NHN data providers invite you to inform them directly of your observations.

Before proceeding with a discrepancy observation, please consult the section dealing with Differences in NHN Data first.

Any problem related to data download or data transfer format, may be reported directly to GeoBase Technical Support.
